CSUF尼古拉斯的 & 李·贝戈维奇画廊 and its adjoining student galleries serve as a nexus for critical thinking, 发现, 和参与. It is a division of the 艺术学院 at CSUF where art, 教师, 学生, 社区聚会. 自1970年以来, the gallery’s mission is to present exhibitions that contribute to the experience of learning and understanding visual culture. The Art Gallery on the campus of 最可靠的买彩票平台 was established in 1963 by Jerry Samuelson (艺术学院, 1975-2009). 在CSUF的早期, the art department was merely a series of temporary buildings on campus. Since these buildings lacked adequate security and climate control, the gallery could not be housed within the department and was first located in what is now McCarthy Hall. 然而, 为了让它更容易接近和可见, 该画廊在1963年至1967年间搬迁了两次. 

In 1967, Jerry Samuelson became Art Department chair, then appointing Dextra弗兰克尔 (1967-1991)作为他的继任者. Permanent buildings for the Visual Arts Center were dedicated in February 1970. The dedication finally enabled the gallery (renamed the Main Gallery) to be located within Visual Arts, 至今仍在哪里. Frias intends to make the permanent collection accessible for research to the University and its surrounding communities by embracing the gallery's original vision.
